A stylish laptop bag for women from Jessica Jensen
Part of my job entails me meeting people and discussing the contributor network. This means carrying some tech with me – my phone(s), a tablet and occasionally my laptop. This means a decent-sized bag to carry it all.
I did get a laptop bag from work but it’s the usual nylon thing that is quite hideous. I use it when I’m toting the work laptop home. But on the days when I’m just carrying the smaller tech I would like a structured bag that isn’t too brief-casey and had compartments.
I was looking at this Plia Reid satchel but the cost and the shipping is very high. To put it in perspective, the cost of that bag is the same as getting and installing a new toilet (with professional help).
Still, I did need a bag with some structure. Enter this bag from Jessica Jensen, and on deep sale. It’s in leather, has plenty structure and can hold everything I usually carry when I go to meetings. And it doesn’t look too much like a laptop bag. Also, it reminds me of the boxy bags from the ’90s. Doctor bags anyone?
I bought it but the best part is that Jessica’s team contacted me to make sure I knew the bag was backordered. During our correspondence, I mentioned that I loved the bag but wished it wasn’t in black.
Jessica said it would be available in eggplant. Sold.
