The Serena Tote from Jessica Jensen

It was my birthday recently and I wanted to upgrade my bag from the big black hole I currently carry. So when Canadian designer Jessica Jensen said she was designing a more affordable (read: cheaper) line of bags for the Shopping Channel, I bought one. [gallery...

The Rewind Button: London Calling by The Clash

(The Rewind Button is a group blogging project.  Every Thursday, we review an album from Rolling Stone’s Greatest Albums list.)

London Calling by The Clash

Before I talk about the music, let’s take a moment to admire the cover. That’s Paul Gustave Simonon, the bass guitarist for the band. It was 1979 and he was caught smashing his instrument by Pennie Smith.

Woodworth’s Motion on Abortion (M-312)

I emailed Bob Rae's office expressing my thoughts on motion 312 which would call for a committe to decide when life begins. I'm pro-choice. We should all have the right to choose whether we have an abortion or not. This is not a matter of conscience,...

It's a great read. Why would...

The Rewind Button: Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band

I was too young when the Beatles were around (and all were alive) so to me they exist as a story, just a fairy tale about huge popularity and bringing Brit sound to North America. I was excited to join a group of bloggers ( and was invited by Reb Stevenson) to review the Top 40 albums on Rolling Stone’s list of Top 100 Best Albums. We start off with the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
