Running: I hate it but I love it
I am a slow, slow runner. I run a 5k in 43 minutes according to my chip time. There’s some walking involved but mostly running but I figure it’s the doing and getting it done that really counts.
I love the feeling after I run, it’s the actually running that I don’t like. I do get the endorphin rush and can motor along nicely but then I start thinking about my legs which leads to me falling out of my breathing pattern and the next thing you know, I’ve lost my rhythm.
Maybe I don’t run regularly — I only do it once a week — so I need to increase my frequency. To motivate me I like to look at running clothes. After all, you should be functional (sweat-wicking!) and look good.
I love running clothes, just not the actual running.
