Zombies, spices and olive oil at Crescendo on Mount Pleasant

Nice weather means getting outside. I’ve been running in my neighbourhood and in the last week have run past Crescendo on Mount Pleasant road. I’d made a note to visit it when I’m not in my running clothes and then promptly do something else. I ran out of olive oil recently and decided to walk down to Mount Pleasant to visit the design, consignment and food stores in the neighbourhood. That meant finally walking into Crescendo.

After chatting about running away from zombies thanks to Zombies, Run! I tasted some olive oil and bought a little bottle of cold pressed oil. The store carries all kinds of oils – almond, garlic, avocado and red pepper. It also carries different vinegars and spices.

What I really liked are the gift boxes (seen above). How fabulous would it be to get one of them as a gift? I’m already planning on buying a few.
