Condo development proposal from Rockport Group for Postal Station K

Once Postal Station K was sold by Canada Post to the Rockport Group, it was only a matter of time before a development proposal sign would appear despite it not being in the designated urban growth centre of Yonge and Eglinton. 

And here is the proposed design:

I guess? I am not an expert but that design is banal. As my friend Celia said, “It looks like an exclamation mark.” I’m not giving props to the Rockport Group for preserving the post office because I think they could have at least tried harder to design something interesting.

So that makes it the fourth highrise condo between Yonge and Eglinton and Yonge and Broadway. Unless the infrastructure can catch up – traffic of all sorts is just going to be a bitch. (This is where you can correct me on this.)

Edited to add: I just thought about this but this picture? It won’t have that airy look in its surroundings. Picture a condo about the same size to the left (our left). Yup, there’s a proposal for another right condo right across the road.
