Memories of Trinidad thanks to New Orleans

After I took this picture, I thought it looked familiar: 

 

I said to my companions that this street reminded me of some of the streets in Trinidad thanks to the strong French and Spanish influence in New Orleans. When I showed my parents, my mother said, ‘Looks like Woodbrook.” (A neighbourhood of Port-of-Spain.)

Of course, the palm trees helped, I’m sure.
