Trading Air Transat for British Airways
Sometimes a deal is not a deal. I suspect that I’m preaching to the choir when I say this.
The last time I travelled to London, I took Air Transat. It was fine but not great. This time around, we booked British Airways and for $100 more, it was a different experience. There was more leg room, for one and the service was much better.
It’s not the first time I’ve travelled via British Airways. The first time was when I was eight and went to Antigua.
For example, airplane food is generally not the best but the dinner we got wasn’t bad. The meat dish was beef and green beans with mashed potatoes and turnips. For an economy meal, not bad (acknowledging that standards of comparison are very low.)
Also, a bottle of wine or two if you wanted. I choose to have the one with dinner then stick to water.
