Gap Spring 2011

It’s time to give your skinnies a bit of a break. Instead of wearing them all the time, GAP wants you to mix in a high-waisted, wide-legged jeans in a medium denim for spring 2011.

In other words, the strong seventies influence continues.

That means dress shirt with breast pockets, last seen paired with safari jackets, an d the pussy-bow/secretary blouse continues apace, this time paired with the wide-legged or flare jean instead of a pencil skirt.

The line also comes with shoes and yes, there will be another GAP Design Edition shoe by Pierre Hardy. You can’t really see much of the shoe in these pictures, but it’s a Mary Jane with a chunky heel (all the better to walk on) and a pointed toe.

Don’t worry though. There are still enough skinny and drop crotch/harem pants for spring. GAP wants you to expand your wardrobe, not tuck away your favourite style.
